해외전시회 수준과 수행기관 역할이 참가업체 만족도와 충성도에 미치는 영향
본 연구의 목적은 전시회 구성요소 중 전시회 수준과 수행기관 역할이 참가업체 만족도와 충성도에 미치는 영향을 파악해 보는데 있다. 이를 위해 2016년부터 개편되어 시행되고 있는 국고지원 해외전시회 성과측정 모델의 측정내용을 평가해 봄으로써, 평가모형이 전시회와 마케팅 분야 이론에 적합하게 평가요소가 구성되었는지를 알아보고 시사점을 찾는데 있다. 분석결과 수준이 높은 전시회는 참가업체 만족도가 좋게 나타나고, 높은 만족도는 재참가 및 타업체 추천 등 충성도와 연결되었다. 반면에 수행기관 역할은 참가업체 만족도에 큰 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났는데, 업체들이 수행기관 역할을 전시회 참가목적 달성과는 별개로 판단한 것으로 분석된다. 참가업체의 관심은 판매 및 비판매 등 비즈니스 목적달성에 있을 것으로 수행기관 역할은 추후 수행기관 선정에 별도로 활용하는 방안도 필요하겠다. 국고지원 해외전시회 성과측정 요소들은 목적과 연구자들이 다름에도 연구모형에서 상당히 설득력이 높은 것으로 분석됐다. 그러나 측정항목이 너무 압축적이어서 좀 더 다양한 내용을 평가할 수 있도록 항목 수를 늘릴 필요가 있다. 또 계약액, 유효 상담건수 등 정량평가 위주의 모형을 객관성과 다양성을 확보하기 위해 비판매성과 까지 파악할 수 있는 정성적인 요소를 추가하는 것도 검토되어야 할 것으로 보인다. 마지막으로 금번 연구대상 전시회들은 국제적으로 인지도가 높은 전시회들로 수행기관 역할이 크게 필요치 않을 수 있다. 수행기관 역할은 개도국 전시회 및 인지도가 낮은 전시회 등에서 높을 수 있다. 따라서 적정한 수행기관 평가를 위해서는 이러한 요소들이 감안되어야 할 것이다.
A study on the exhibitors’ satisfaction and loyalty based on the quality of the exhibition and role of the organizer
The purpose of this study is to estimate the exhibitors’satisfaction and loyalty related to the quality of the exhibitions and the role of organizers. The Korean government has a program called ‘the International exhibition subsidizing program’which helps its companies to export promotion. And the government has been developing an ‘Evaluation system of participants’ performance’ since 2008. This study focuses on the reevaluation of the newly developed ‘performance evaluation system’for Korean exhibitors in international trade fairs. The study found that the quality of the exhibitions affect the participants’satisfaction, and consequently exhibitors loyalty positively. The measuring variables for‘the Evaluation system of the participant’s performance’have been adequately defined. However, the number of variables in the model is small. More measuring variables should be added to the system to better evaluate the result of the participants’performance.
